After tinkering with it in April, this blog, in its current manifestation, really only started rolling in mid-summer. Still I’ve burrowed back through my collection of photos and discovered numerous ones that should have hit the delete button. From the remainder, I’ve put together a month by month gallery, mostly of times and places in and around London. The Olympic Games were obviously a main event here but these had international coverage so are not included, and neither is my 60th birthday, which quietly coincided! So for the WordPress weekly photo challenge, here’s: ‘My 2012 in pictures’

nice 12-package – my favorite: March – Easter egg hunt around London
it was fun – every egg had a name. Was glad to have found Samsara!
Beautiful gallery! I like the egg too. Happy 2013, Laura!
always egcited about a New Year – thanks for the good wishes Amy
Congratulations on a great start. Best Wishes in the New Year.
and look forward to more wonderful walking from you in 2013
All lovely, but especially Buckingham Palace Gates
thank you – have a soft spot for that one too – aside from the subject its the glitz and shadows
The park with the ducks is a very peaceful scene. I adore it. What a wonderful place London is.
there are Swamp Cypress trees here so it has a touch of the everglades Angelia. London has so many faces
These photos are all so charming. I love the easter egg hunt one — that must have been fun! These all make me want to visit London.
Halie
hi Halie – the Easter egg hunt is quite wide spread and effectively takes the hunter, London sightseeing
Dear Laura, Your photos make me quite homesick. I love the sentiments of a your twelfth picture. Happy New Year! P. x
Dear Pam – you have roots in two continents and your garden exemplifies that. Very best wishes to you too for 2013
