This photo reminds me of an artist’s impression though it is assuredly real. Turning a corner into Parker Street, these bright and shining Chinese Privet trees lifted my spirits on a late winter’s day. The cultivar appendum of ‘excelsum superbum’ perfectly describes my reaction.
I really love the angle of the buildings, how they lean in. Really captivating.
thank you – was pleased with this effect as it captured first impressions
Lovely – though I might not think so if I had a window shaded by them. Its a wonder that they haven’t been brutally hacked by the tree police too, as so many pavement planted trees seem to be.
how thoughtful Janet though it’s only camera angle. These are quite constrained street trees
Beautiful photo. Love the tree.
had to check it out Amy – the evergreen variegation is winter bright
