Shades of Autumn

“Departing summer hath assumed
An aspect tenderly illumed”…

Am pulling down the shades as I’m away again until the end of the month. By then, Autumnal days will be inching  in to view. Oh! I could weep for the fleetness of Summer, as does the Robin, with melancholic notes clearly audible, in a subdued, seasonal melody.
