Mortifying reflections

If Dr Johnson were to turn left out of his house today, he would find the brick frontages of East Harding street confronting a megalithic mass of  glass. Now that all the construction wraps are off, the full meszmerising effect of New Street Square’s mirrored maze is revealed. I like it, yet the Brobdingnagian proportions must prompt office workers to reflect on the transparency of their ant-like activities. Whether that induces industriousness too is a matter for the psychosocial scientists. [click any image to begin slide gallery]
