WPC: From Lines to Patterns

Without the lure of colour, it is easier for me to see the weft and weave of images and thus I resort more and more, to black and white photography:

I also love the ‘text mode’ of the camera which extracts everything to its extreme

and somewhere between these is ‘high contrast mono’ which I’ll be focusing on this week. It emphasises the structure of a composition rather well – which also happens to fit this week’s Photo Challenge: From Lines to Patterns [# HCM]
