Hey Jude!

storm clouds We live in a temperate climate and so extraordinary weather conditions are often exaggerated to the extreme.  Nevertheless, the meteorological computer has modelled a severe weather front due to sweep up from the south of Britain on Monday and given that that is Jude’s saints day, the storm has been ascribed this appellation. St Jude is appropriately, the patron of desperate situations and lost causes…

      1. I was in London in 87 and I remember. That was the first time I realized why the trees were so ‘easily’ uprooted. With the rainy weather the roots don’t need to go deep, hence so many of them were literally blown away. It was horrible. .. I hope it doesn’t happen again.
