Thursday Trees: devil may care

For years, this vintage sentinel would have watched the constant streams of traffic cut through the tree line but now with the A3 road re-routed into a tunnel below, the vista of the ‘devil’s punch bowl’ is silent and uninterrupted.  blue skies and winter tree on the rim of the Devil's punchbowl
