Monochrome Madness #20: bookbench

“It was a full moon and, shining on all the snow, it made everything almost as bright as day — only the shadows were rather confusing.”

Actually it was a dull summer’s day and there were few shadows, so quite a contrast with the bookbench’s subject matter (though perhaps not as much as I’d like, in the image itself). Nevertheless the greyscale offers up shape and coolness instead. Can you guess the book before you scroll down? Whatever the title, its my offering for Monochrome Madnesss week #20
