Treasure

squirrel_treasure

A squirrel may not be much of a treasure given the amount of damage they do but for today’s #photo101 it fits the theme as it digs up or buries food stores. This shot is treasured as I had to be รผber fast on the draw and even so, the framing is quite good and the wet grass almost sparkles under gold leaves, even without a tripod (fortunately I was shooting in aperture mode so the camera worked out shutter speed).

And just then the squirrel ran off, having spotted a couple of nut-bearing visitors. Note the sunlit whiskerssquirrel_treasure2
