Near and far into the night

One of the best views of the city of London is from Waterloo bridge and not least at night when lighting brings out the architectural contours in colours.

This collaged panorama looks east towards the City – none of the towers are permitted to obscure St Paul’s and hence they arrive on the southbank or further east – click to enlarge to spot St Pauls or the Oxo Tower…london city night panorama from Waterloo bridge
or here is the cathedral in zoom which inevitably brings more noise into the night shot

Am leaving London for a few days and have timed the rest of London night shots to publish in my absence. Wishing everyone a good weekend

ALL THIS WEEK, I’M FEATURING NIGHT SHOTS FROM A WHOLONDON MERRY CHRISTMAS WALK WITH GUIDE DIANE BURSTEIN.  IT EXERCISED THE LEGS AS WELL AS PHOTOGRAPHIC SKILLS THOUGH ON THE MOVE WITHOUT TRIPOD IS NOT IDEAL.
