Dai day

daffodil collage for st davids dayor even Dafydd day – is this why we call  the St David’s day narcissi daffodils? One thing for sure – it is not Spring for me until the quarter day equinox (25th March) and despite yesterday’s golden images, the weather seems to agree. Cold and windy forecast for the foreseeable future…at least the daffs look cheery.

  1. Wow, these daffs sing spring….here it is a weird start as the weather is vacillating between March and April….some warm days and cold nights, frost, snow, rain. But birds are back and the bulbs are starting to bloom so it is an early spring.

Now have your say...
