June parade

Goodbye June – barely a flaming day this month but here is a gallery of  images that did not make the posts. More record than remarkable but nevertheless…

a somewhat dull start with bluebells later than usual making it to the first few days of the month. Just when the weather seemed to be turning for the better it reneged and became the wettest on record. Did manage some short breaks beside the seaside and captured a few summery blooms, as well as a day out in London’s Open Garden Squares but as evidenced by recent posts, the British Museum has been the most frequented shelter from torrential downpours. Only ducks and gardeners are not complaining. [click any image to view slideshow]
