Slightly tardy with November’s wind-up post but am just back from a short and refreshing break in deepest Essex. Evidently it was much needed as these shots show just how much my camera has been stuck in London park mode.
Autumn colours finally arrived and quickly vanished in the winds but the wildlife remain and make the most of the late afternoon sunshine. I try to catch their eye and sometimes succeed…
parks are a good place for people shots too – surreptitiously or otherwise
and November gives some of the best light
though the earlier setting of the sun shortens the photographer’s day
and December is here with a cold snap though this one of my grandson warms my heart. As evident by this framing, he too is developing an eye for photography
