WPC: Favourite 2017

I remember this day so well – it was March and we had been walking along Cheapside when a downpour sent us sheltering in the lee of Mary Le Bow. After the rain stopped, we wandered down Bow lane towards the river and my companion stopped to look in the shoemaker’s window. The light was good, pavements washed, and this was a caption shot waiting for the shutter.

  1. Excellent light indeed, Laura. There is also a hint of ‘back in time’ about this shot – the pared down window display perhaps. Happy New Year to you and more power to your photographing happenstance.
